My blog post wil foucs on the implications advertisements have on buying behaviors.

Advertising is all around us. Wherever we eat, work, exercise, and study, advertisements are telling us what's "new", "hot", and "cheap". The implications that advertisements have on consumer decisions is remarkable. One thing I learned from my focus group study, is that advertisements are successfully bringing awarness to their products (A.K.A, doing their job) and it is working extermely well on the younger generations. The abiilty that advertisers have to inflict social pressure to buy certain products in order to " fit in " or " keep up " is quite intriguing. Whats even more interesting is how it actually works. As much as people insist that advertising does not affect their buying behaviors, this new media allows for advertising to be literally everywhere. In my opinion the success of advertiers today can be attributed to the social media and the option to advertise over various mediums. When consumers constantly see advertising in several different settings the message starts to stick when it comes time to buy.
